"I'm Geordie with AT&T Spring. I'm going to show you how to dry out a wet cell phone. First off, you want to take your cell phone completely apart starting with the back taking out the battery. If there's a sim card, take out your sim card so you have it completely taken apart. From here you want to get a ziplock bag with uncooked rice and place all the parts of the phone inside the ziplock bag and let the rice absorb the liquid out of the phone for 24 to 48 hours. Some people also decide to take apart their cell phone, put it inside the oven, something I don't recommend because the oven can melt the plastic but also a second way of drying out a cell phone."
