"Hi, my name is Reka Morvay, I'm a psychologist and I'm going to talk about flirting tips for shy girls. If you are a shy person than you probably don't feel terribly comfortable interacting with people, especially not in a potentially romantic relationship like trying to flirt with a boy or trying to let them know that you're interested. You don't have to completely change who you are and become this outrageously flirtatious person just to get attention from boys that you like. You can be flirtatious in a more quiet and more sedate way that is better suited to you personality and better reflects who you really are. So, the first tip is to always be yourself. Don't feel like you have to put on this act to get the person that you're interested in to notice you. At the same time, realize that sometimes you do have to put yourself out there and to take some risks and expose yourself to the possibility that maybe you will get a negative answer. Because without taking risks you will never give yourself the opportunity to find out whether that person would have been interested in you. If you want to flirt with a person without being completely obvious about it, you can definitely just go and have a conversation, smile, everybody likes it if they smile at them, show your interest in more quiet and subtle ways, and you will find that if somebody's interested in you, they will pick up on these subtler signals as well."
