"Hi, I'm Noah and today we're going to learn about the definition of ISP. ISP stands for Internet Service Provider. In other words, these are companies that offer their customers access to the Internet. Now this access can either be dial-up which is the more "old fashioned" connection, or different types of broadband. Mostly DSL and cable modem. You can also have satellite connections but these aren't for general consumers. They're for military organizations, or large businesses. A few example of Internet service providers include AOL, Comcast, Road Runner, as well as COX communications. Now different ISP's may offer their customers additional services, for example e-mail, or even additional services like on-line storage space. These services are usually included at no extra cost, along with your Internet access."
