"Hi, I'm Amelia and I'm here to talk to you about how to use your flat iron if you're a blond hair. Blond hair does sometimes, even though blonds have actually more hair on their head than anybody else, they do, the hair can sometimes can be a lot finer and blonds do tend to highlight; so that hair is going to be a little bit more damage usually. So, when flat ironing blond hair, you're going to want to make sure that you're flat iron has a temperature control. As you can see with this one, it's got a plus and a minus, so I can bring that temperature down or I can bring it up depending on my needs in my hair. So for, with the temperature control, I would start, maybe not the lowest but the next lowest setting and then take your hair and just flat ironing. You're also going to want to make sure that you get a thermal protectant and spray that on your hair prior to flat ironing 'cause that will definitely keep the hair a lot healthier and you'll be able to flat iron longer and more often. So that work out just fine having it on that medium to low setting. So definitely get a flat iron that has a temperature control so that way you have more control over the amount of heat that will actually be touching your hair. Because with blond hair, again, if it's blonded with color, it's going to need a lot more moisture and love and care."
