Hi, I'm Amelia and I'm here to talk to you about the best way to remove unwanted hair. First let's go into what the different ways are. There's threading, tweezing, waxing, electrolysis, shaving and laser hair removal. Laser hair removal is going to be the most permanent and so is electrolysis. Electrolysis you have to go back repeatedly and basically the follicle is electrocuted, so you have to get like a, there's a little pen and they go to every hair follicle that you're trying to remove and electrocute it. So it can be a little uncomfortable. The laser hair removal works best on coarse dark hair. So if you've got finer blond hair, it's not going to work for you. If you are willing to let the hair grow out a little bit, waxing is an excellent choice. It's sometimes it can be a little bit painful especially in the areas where you got a lot more sensitivity like your bikini area or your underarms, but you can wax pretty much anything. Tweezing is great for small areas, like your eyebrows, your chin, your lip. Once you get use to tweezing, it doesn't hurt anymore. And also threading. Threading you have to go to a threading salon and they actually take thread and wrap it around each hair or actually few hairs at a time and pull it out one by one. And if you go to a really excellent salon, then it's really not painful at all. It's great for those people who can't wax, but still like that nice, sharp eyebrow. Or they've got a lot of hair on their chin that they're trying to remove, but they can't wax due to medications or other sensitivities. So really need to choose what's going to be best for your needs. A lot of people prefer to shave their legs or wax their legs. I don't really recommend doing electrolysis on the area like the sides of your legs. I would recommend doing electrolysis maybe on an area like your lip or your chin and as far as waxing and tweezing, again, same area, your face, your arms, excellent. I really, I'm a big proponent of waxing 'cause I think you can get large areas done quickly. Just remember that in order to wax, you do have to have about a quarter of an inch of hair in order for the aesthetician or skin therapist to remove that hair properly. But just be sure to choose whatever's going to work best for your lifestyle.
