"Hi, I'm Amelia, and I'm here to talk to you about how to take care of your relaxed hair. Once the hair is relaxed, it's a completely different type of hair, so you might have to spend some time getting used to it. A lot of people feel like it's a little bit flatter. When I had my hair relaxed for the first time, it was the first time I ever actually had to use a round brush and put some curl into it. You're really going to want to be gentle with it. It's been through a chemical process, a fairly harsh chemical process, so always make sure that you're using really good quality shampoos and conditioners. Pantene has one out, that's Breakage Defense, cause with a lot of relaxers and any type of chemical process like that, there is a lot of breakage. So something with a protein-based shampoo and conditioner is excellent. Also, you're going to want to look into something that has some thermal protection, because you still will be using thermal tools to style your hair. You will probably still be using the flat iron occasionally, and/or even a curling iron. So a thermal protection spray, and a thermal protection conditioner is great. Make sure that your styling products again don't have a whole lot of protein, but your shampoo and conditioner can be protein-based. And with these products, you can keep your relaxed hair healthy."
