"gregHow to sell a home in a dragging market! In a dragging market this is something that we see presently in a lot of areas, here in the United States at least, and worldwide. The most important things to think about when you're selling a home in a dragging market is really the level of competition that's going on out there. You need to be very realistic with yourself and with your property, and anybody else that's working with you. Whether it be your realtor, your attorney, any buyers that come to you that are interested in the property. Sellers being realistic in this market is very important. Chances are you are not going to see on your property, the return that you thought you would see five years ago. And that's absolutely fine. If you need to sell then you need to sell. And this is some, these are some ways you can get this done. First off, work with a realtor. I can't stress that enough on a lot of this. They will know exactly what to do and they will be able to help you throughout the process. You can do, there's lots of different things you can do, little tricks. Stage your home is a very good thing to do. There's plenty of people out there who do this as a business. They can come to your house, they can help you design your house to sell it at its utmost. The other thing you can do is really think about beyond what's going on inside, what's going on outside of your house. Landscaping is very important. Curb appeal, extremely important. When your buyers come by your house they want to see what's going on outside the place and they want to see something that really catches their eye. And that's probably two things that really help you sell in this dragging market."
