"Hi my name is John Niemira and I'm an instructor here at the Steven Henager College in Salt Lake City, Utah. I want to talk to you today briefly about how to file a name for a new business. It's a fairly simple process that you visit your local county licensing office. At the office you obtain your business license application, there is a minimal fee. The application is fairly simple. Be very very careful with the process and the data you fill into the application. It is a process that does not need your attorney involved. It is probably simple enough to do yourself and not too costly. You decide on your business name yourself. Be careful in the names that you choose. Do some research before you choose a name, whether you are going to use your own family name, your own, whether it be your wife or your kids' name or if it is a subjective name that you would use for your business. Be careful once again with the process of filling out the application and you can always get on line to get more help with the process. For any more information on this topic or any other business topic you can contact me directly at my e-mail jniemira@gmail.com."
