"Hi everyone my name is Dave Casuto from San Francisco Computer Tutors and in this tutorial we are going to show you how to use Flash in Dreamweaver. Flash allows you to create animation and other types of dynamic types of elements and you can bring them into Dreamweaver so your Dreamweaver page has those animation elements in them as well. So you can see a lot of great benefits and it is a lot easier than you think. You want to make sure that your Flash file is in the SWF format or a Swift format in order to use it. You also want to make sure that you import it into your root folder. So now you see here you see my files on the right hand side and we are going to be working with this one called Africa Mask Animation and you notice when I move my mouse over it is an SWF file so you also want to make sure that you have got enough room for it so it is important to know what the dimensions and parameters of your Flash file so just make sure that you have got enough room or else it won't show or it won't play right and all those different things. So I am going to actually give myself a little more room here for my Flash file and then I'll drag this puppy down a little bit more and let me actually get rid of, so I can actually see everything so it should actually just bring it down once I bring it in so I am going to place my cursor inside here and I am going to find my Flash file and simply just drag it in and then it is going to ask me to give it a little accessibility title so I am going to call this Africa Mask and click o'kay and now watch what happens. I get this big block in there with an F in there which means Flash so right now Dreamweaver is not going to play it for me until I actually preview it in the browser. So let's go ahead and do that. So I am going to go to my little lobe up there preview in Safari and asks me to save it so I am going to go ahead and save it and now just like that I have got Flash inside of there. It's as easy as that. When I move my mouse over it there I see the all tag. So another way you could have done it as well if you want to do it this way you can go up into insert and then a media and then choose Flash and then it is going to look inside your root folder and do it that way as well. You have got other options for Flash video and other kinds of Flash options or you can do exactly what I did and just click on it and just drag it in and then it should be good. O'kay well that concludes our over view on bringing in Flash into Dreamweaver. You saw how easy that was and how much fun that can be. So once again my name is David Casuto from San Francisco Computer Tutors. Please give me a jingle any time. My information is up on yelp.com under San Francisco Computer Tutors and feel free to contact me any time you like."
