"Hi this is Jessica Claire with New York Dating Coach in New York City. In this clip we are going to talk about how to move in with a partner. This is not only a romantic decision. It is a financial decision and a life decision. I would say this is something that should be discussed in very serious quantity before becoming an actual action. Once you move in with someone and the lease is signed it is a commitment that has a time frame. It is not easy to move out once you have made the decision to move in. Secondly I want to give some tips on how to make this an easier process. First of all move in to a neutral space. If someone is moving into your apartment or you are moving into someone else's apartment it was their space before it was yours and humans are just like animals. We are very territorial. So it is best to start fresh and get a new apartment together. This may take some timing on your part which also helps the decision process. The more time it takes to find that place the more you can really mull over if this is a good idea. Also be sure it is a financially responsible decision for both parties. If one person can't afford this apartment and the other can maybe the timing isn't right and you should wait. Good luck this is Jessica Claire with New York Dating Coach."
