"In this segment we'll discuss how to replace or repair a keyboard on a laptop computer. The first thing you want to think about is whether or not your computer is still warranty. Most laptops include a one year manufacturer's warranty. If this is the case, it might be more cost effective for you just to send it back to the manufacturer and have them replace it. Some minor repairs is would be if a key comes off, you can replace this fairly easily by snapping a new one in the place. If there's more extensive damage like one of the components underneath the keys is damaged, then you're typically going to have to replace the entire keyboard component on the laptop computer."
