"Hi, I'm Rachael Richardson, I'm a licensed nutritionist and registered dietitian with Nutrolution in South Beach Florida. In this clip we're going to talk about how you can best deal with adrenal burnout. Now you may be adrenally burned out and the way that you would recognize this is if you really have no energy left, you have been exhausted emotionally, maybe physically as well, and what happens is, your body produces adrenaline to handle all kinds of things, stress for one. Actually your body even produces adrenaline when you're singing in the car, if you have any kinds of intense situations that you're dealing with as well as it produces adrenaline in response to things like caffeine, sugar and other foods that stimulate your body. So after a while of basically being taxed, your adrenals can either just start to function less and run out of some of their hormones or they can completely burnout. If this, if you're either on track to this or this is actually happened with you, you need to think about resting yourself and nourishing your body. Some of the key nutrients that you need to nourish your adrenal glands are your essential fatty acids such as your fish oils as well as protein as well as sea salt. These are some of the key nutrients that I focus on when you're trying to rejuvenate your adrenal glands. This has been Rachel with Nutrolution in South Beach, Florida."
