"Hi, I'm Rachael Richardson. I'm a licensed nutritionist, and registered dietitian, with Nutrolution, in South Beach, Florida. In this clip, we're going to talk about the benefits of a protein shake, so have you ever tried drinking, or making your own protein shake? If you haven't, I highly suggest this. As a matter of fact, with my clients that I see in person, I recommend a protein shake for just about everybody, and the reason is, that they are balancing for your blood sugar. They are easy to make, and very convenient, so you can actually make them ahead of time, and bring them with you, wherever you go, and you can pack tons of nutrition into this protein shake, so I always start with a healthy protein powder, and for those of you who don't have any food allergies, I would definitely recommend an organic whey protein powder, such as a Paleo meal, or Way-Cool, made by Designs for Health. For those of you who might have a food allergy, you could go with a brown rice protein powder, and actually I have one right here, which is actually called Paleo Cleanse. It does a little bit more than just provides a protein. It also provides some extra cleansing nutrients, and then if you add some frozen fruit, and some sort of liquid, such as coconut milk, or almond milk, or water. Put them together, and you've got a great balancing, nutritious meal to go. This is Rachael with Nutrolution, in South Beach, Florida."
