"Hi! I'm Mike Becks, I'm with LeaderBoard Tournaments Systems of Orlando, and we're here on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're going to talk about how many volunteers you need to run a golf tournament. The first thing I would suggest is that you create a committee and appoint a committee chairperson to solicit volunteers for the event. Committee members and even chair that you'll need for the event will be somewhere between 5 and 20 depending upon your event. You'll need volunteers for the registration the day of the event. Somewhere between 3 and 8. You'll need people to register players, to sell the super ticket, selling raffle tickets, and distributing the golfer prizes and gifts. The next thing you'll need to concern yourself with is where to get the volunteers from. Again, there are organizations that you can reach out to. For example, the boy scouts, service organizations like rotary, friends, friends of your committee, clubs, colleges, interns, retired people are all places that you can reach out to for volunteers for your event. All told you'll need somewhere between 10 and 20 volunteers to run the even depending upon the size of the event."
