"Hi, I'm Gary for Expert Village. Today we're going to make a business card in Photoshop. It's going to be a graphical business card, which is a little bit different than just having text on a plain white paper. And I'm going to show you some basic skills in Photoshop that we're going to use to create this business card, that's really going to help you, in a way, master Photoshop, and really open up a lot of different options because you're going to be introduced to tools, if you've never seen them before, you'll realize that with very--once you understand how the tools work, there's just a little bit of manipulation that you can really apply some really nice effects. And we're going to bring in different images, apply different types of texture, colors and texture to the image and I'm going to show you how to create different effects, and also we're going to use some handy tools like re-sizing images, and also apply a type of feathering effect, which is really going to be the key to making this type of business card really stand out, and make it look something--like something really special. So all in all, there's a lot of different effects that you can use that fit your personality, and once you see how they work, you'll really feel comfortable using these tools in Photoshop."
