"Hi, I'm Ed Reyes from Master Builders here in Tampa, Florida. I am here for Expert Village. I am going to show you the proper way to use a plunge router. Now this is just for demonstration purposes only. On a table like this on the inside of these wheels, there are areas to mount onto a table, so you want to mount this properly. This table is used mainly for running lumber at a long length and getting a design that you want without having to manually use the router. The way that it is mounted upside down, this area here you mount the router up under here and it mounts as is with the router bit coming out on top of this area here. So you would have your bit hanging here, your router underneath and you run your board across that way. You can make adjustments here with this and move it forward, backwards wherever you want to make a design on your wood. But if you are looking for a corner piece cut, you would move it all the way up so that the bit is right up against this edge. If you are looking to make a straight line cut down the center of the wood, you would measure out and move it out accordingly, tighten it, your bit would be centered, you would run your board across and you would get your design in the center of your wood.
