Overview of Pac-Man Patterns

"Hi! Leo Daniels, world champion video game and pinball player, here for Expert Village. We're going to talk about the actual patterns for Pac-Man. I've broken it up into 3 different phases. Phase 1, phase 2, and phase 3. Now, if you follow these patterns, if you stay strictly on this pattern, you will not die. It's not to score a perfect game. It's mainly to get through the mazes and to score the most points as possible without taking any risks at all. If you follow these patterns, your game score will definitely increase. This is for novice players and intermediate players just to learn how to get all the way to the 10th key. Once you make it to the 10th key on Pac-Man, that's when everything changes as far as patterns. It's a lot more difficult at that point."
