"Hi, my name is Matthew Driggers and we are here at Cigar Castle in Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village this is how to hand roll cigars and smoking tips and techniques. Now we are going to talk about the different types of cutters that we have for the different cigars. The first and most common kind is what's called a guillotine or a straight cut. This is your most typical kind. It just looks like this and cuts from both sides. Some of them cut down from one, like this, or it just cuts down one blade. I prefer the two blades because you get equal pressure on both sides of the cut. This is called a v cut or a wedge cut. If you look at it from the side you can see it's got a slight wedge in here and the blade just comes down straight from the top and cuts a wedge into the head of the cigar. This is what's called a punch and all it does, is, you wiggle this into the end of the cigar and it kind of removes just a little bit of the cap, just enough for you to draw some smoke out of it."
