How to Trim Eyebrows

"Hi! I'm Amelia and on behalf of Expert Village, we'll be talking about the perfect eyebrow. Trimming the eyebrow is one of the great ways to remove some of the bulk and remove those wild hairs. A lot of people don't do this. Really it makes a huge difference. Sometimes you can just trim the eyebrow and not worry so much about removing the excess hair. Just trimming it will make a big difference. In order to trim your eyebrows, I like to use these mascara wands that you can get at any beauty supply store. You first just brush the hair up. You'll be able to see the excess hair. It's above that. Then I like to use little manicuring scissors because they're not going to cut her. Plus, they have this nice bevel on them. I'm just going to brush up that extra hair and go through and just trim off that excess. That's going in and removing and extra bulk. Sometimes you can overdo this. For example, she's got a little spot right here where she doesn't have much eyebrow. We're going to keep this length, because when we use our eyebrow products, we'll be able to groom that right into place and that length will cover up and spots. Again, all the way to the end. You're just going to want to kind of go in, brush them, and then you can even brush them down a little bit. It's a little bit harder to do this on yourself, but you just brush it up. Those little excess hairs, just clip them and you're done. That's how you trim an eyebrow."
