"So now that I have shown you how to create an event in Google calendar, now I am going to show you to create a "Notification" for that event and how to invite other people to that event. If you remember to create an event, I am here in "Monthly view"; I am just going to click on a day. Then I have to go to "Edit event details" to be able to do this. Then you have got your other options here, you fill these out and if you want a notification for this event, like a reminder, you would do that do here in the "Options" section. Your reminder can either be a "pop up" or "email". A "pop up" will just pop itself up in Google Calendar, so you will actually have to have the calendar open to get this reminder. Kind of keep it open all day just like any other calendar or you can choose to send an "email reminder", which it will just send an email to the Gmail account you are signed up with. For pop up or the email, you can set the time like this, all the way from five minutes to a week. Then you have the option right here, actually back on reminders, you and add multiple reminders, so maybe you want one a day ahead of time, and then you want one the day of fifteen minutes before or something like that. Then you have this option right here, to show me as "available" or "busy", this is if you are sharing events. Basically it will let other people know if you are available or busy on this event. Then you have some privacy options right here, you have the option for default, which goes by your general settings, and by default I believe it is set to "Always private". That is in your "Calendar Settings", then you have "private" and "public" and if you want to learn more about those you can click here and go to "Help" Section. It says, using the Privacy option you can control the visibility of the individual events on your calendar, if you share a calendar with someone, that person will see all your events by default. To make a particular event "private? so that only you and other calendars owners can see it, just click on "private". If your calendar is not currently shared, but you would like to make a single event public so that anyone in the world can see it, just click on "public". So, if this calendar was my private calendar, but for some reason I wanted everybody to see this event I would click on "Public". But more likely this is calendar I am sharing with somebody else, which I will show you how to do later and this particular event I want to make private, I would click right here. So that is the "option" section in here. You can also, when you are creating an event invite guests, which means they will get an email saying, ?they have been invited to this event" and kind of give them some details on what the event is. They will have the option to "accept" or "decline". Probably the easiest way you can just enter the email right here, but the easiest way is to choose from "Contacts" and then your "contacts list" would come up and you can just click them right there and then add them. Click done, see it added that email. Then you have the option to make it so guests can invite other guests and guests can see the guest list and you can turn these on or off. Whatever you would like to do, so that is how set up a reminder for an individual event and also how you can invite guests to an event."
