"Ok so now I am going to show you how to use the my calendars and other calendars section of Goggle calendar. And If you see up here in the top left and then if you just go down you will see the calendar section right here the my calendars and other calendars. And this is a real big part of Goggle calendars and you can kind of think of it as a way to just organize your events and maybe like a folder that would contain or a category for different events. So say you had a family you might do something like have a calendar for each person in the family and then they all could put there events on there and then it would be like a family calendar. So this is the my calendar section and these are the calendars you create and then other calendars are calendars that you can import from other places. So just to show you real quick how to create the new calendar you can just click this add thing right here and then you want to do create a new calendar and then it brings to into some settings here and then you just want to create say a calendar name (ex. Mary Smith) and then you can add a description but that is optional, you can add a location that is also optional. You can select a time zone for your calendar if it's different from your default time zone. And then you have the share options which I will talk about more later but you have the options to make it keep it a private calendar so do not share and then you have the option to share all information on this calendar with everyone which means that anyone can view what your putting on here and then you have the option to share only my free / busy information. I'll talk more about sharing calendars later but just for right now you probably want to keep it private if you?re just using this for yourself. And then you have the option to share with specific people which I will show you how to do that later but really the only thing you have to do is enter your calendar name and you can go ahead and create the calendar. And see it pops up in the my calendars. By clicking this little arrow right here you can change the color and you have some other options display only this calendar so if you click this, your calendar will going to displaying events from the Mary Smith calendar. You can go back into calendar settings I just showed you and you can create an event on this calendar, share it which I will talk about later and then you can set-up notifications for it. We will be talking more about all this kind of stuff later and there are multiple ways to do things like create an event and this is probably isn't even the easiest way right here. But also that me just show you the public calendars. So people create calendars and then you can add them to your Goggle calendar and keep track of things like for instance you can follow Faith Hill's tour dates in Goggle calendar and there is just a ton of stuff on here and you can just search for whatever you like or you can browse, mug these sections right here. There's also add a friend's calendar which is like sharing I will tell you about that later and then add by URL and then import like a showed you earlier. But let me add an other calendars to show you what the difference is. So I will add a public calendar and let's just add this Barack Obama one and I'll just go back to my calendar. Now you can see that I've got my calendars that I created and I also have this Barack Obama calendar that you can already see is updating itself and showing me all this information about Barack Obama and there is just a ton of different calendars other calendars you can add, you can keep track of bands, TV shows, probably movie release dates there is also like a US holidays that's a good one. Let me show you how to get that real fast, just because that's a real good one. Let's see if I just search holiday, actually right over here in the sections you have holidays. So US holidays, I'll add that, that's a real good one to have and probably one of the first and best other calendars you would want to add and you will get all your US holidays added here. So that's the my calendars section of Goggle calendar and I'll show you more things you can do in the upcoming clips."
