Overview of Google Calendar Interface

"So to start using Google calendar, first you'll want to go to your G-mail inbox and just basically just sign into G-mail. Then an easy way to get to your calender is to just go up to this left hand corner and click on the calendar link right here. Then once you click on this, you're going to have to go through a little set up before you can actually start using Google calendar but, I'll show you how to do that. They got some information here on all the cool things you can do with this program. So, they need your password one more time. Then after that you get a message that says, "welcome to Google calendar." You just need to fill out a little bit of information. Looks like it's already filled out for me right now so I'll just go ahead and continue. So, after you've entered in that information, you are at Google calendar. Just a quick overview of the interface, you've got your search up here, which because it's from Google of course it works really well. You've got some what's new, settings, and help up here. Then right here is your calendar. Over here on the right side, you have a different couple of options for the ways you can actually view it. You can look at just by the day, what today is. Then there's this weekly view, the monthly view which is what I like to use, the next four days, and then an agenda which only shows you your upcoming events Then over here, you can see you've got the option to skip ahead. Over here right next to your big calendar is just a little calendar to show you like a smaller view of the month and you can skip ahead to days around here. Down here are where your calendars are, and the way Google calendar works is you can have multiple calendars and add events to that calendar. So, say I had a calendar that was just called personal, I would just add all my personal stuff and then if I had a calendar for business, I could add all my business events. So, it's really useful and I'm going to show you how to use all the features of Google calendar in the upcoming clips. "
