"HI I'm Kelly on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to show you some tips and techniques you can use when you’re applying a powder foundation. Basically there are a few different tools you can use to get different coverage’s of your powder foundation. A powder brush will give you your sheerest finish. This is just going to pick up a small amount of powder and dust it on top of your face, basically that’s going to be used to set foundation whether your wearing a liquid or a cream or even another powder foundation, this will just give you a really nice light finish. Something that will give you a little bit more is a fan brush. This is going to give you maybe a more sheer to moderate coverage depending on how much you apply it with, but this will kind of apply it really nice and light and soft, but it will give you a little bit more then a regular powder brush. You can also use a sponge. Many of your powder foundations will come with a sponge within the compact. And you can use your sponge either wet or dry depending on what type of powder foundation your working with. If you do have a powder foundation that is a wet dry usually if you use it dry that’s going to be better if your more oily skin or if you want a fuller coverage. If you have dryer skin you may want to apply it wet that will give you more sheer moderate coverage. Lastly you can apply your powder foundation using a foundation brush, so this will give you a nice, full coverage as well. It will blend a little bit better then a sponge and it will look a little bit smoother. So those are some different tools you can use to get various finishes of your powder foundation."
