"Right now we're going to talk about holding the ball. The positions were you should hold your ball and everything like that. It just really depends on the lanes and how hard or how slow you'd like to throw the ball. Basically I get a good grip on the ball. I don't have a conventional drilling on the ball. I've got a finger tip drilling. Conventional ball you can stick all your fingers into it and your thumb all the way in. With the finger tip you just put in your finger tips and then your thumb all the way into the ball. Where I like to hold the ball most of the time, if I need to throw it hard and fast, I like to hold it closer up to my face. So gravity pull will bring down your arm swing and then you just come straight out of it and it throws the ball pretty hard. I'll give you an example really quick. I roughly threw that ball about twenty miles per hour right there. The reason being is because I had the ball all the way up next to my face. Gravity pulls it down and then I just follow through. Now another position with the oil condition that we have going on right now would be to hold the ball closer to my chest. That way gravity pull doesn't bring it down as fast and as hard. So I can throw probably a pretty good ball on this condition."
