"Hello, Reggie Hayes here with Expert Village. Now let's talk about hooking your computer up to your home theater system. It can be done, and I promise it's not that intimidating. We have a laptop here, and the laptop is a fairly advanced model, it does offer a TV tuner feature which is right here, a little card, slides right in here. Before we do that, let's hook up audio. Audio's real simple. If we're going to hook up audio and video and go from the laptop to the home theater system right here, let's do this, let's go out of our headphone jack. This is a basic headphone cable to an RCA right here. We go out of the headphone jack and into the back of the stereo over here. Let's pick one like "Satellite Input" right here on our stereo. Since we don't have a satellite, we'll use the laptop on that channel. So we hook our audio up. Now, as I said, this one has a TV tuner card right here, and it just slides right into the laptop, and it's hooked into your basic cable, you can come out of the wall with it, and you're ready to go. But, we need to hook up our video. So let's hook up our video coming out, and our video comes out on the other side here, so I'm going to take this out and flip it around. I'm going to hook up our "S" video cable since this one offers an "S Video Out", which is very convenient. We'll go right out of here with it, this goes out, it does not go in, and you want to check with your manufacturer's documentation to see what kind of hardware was shipped with your computer right here. But you've got the other end of your "S" video cable, and remember we said we'd go into our satellite channel since we're not using that one on this receiver? So we hook it in there. So now we've got video and audio coming into the receiver from our laptop, and you're ready to go!"
