In this segment we're gonna be showing how to do a high ponytail with the hair wrapped around it. So, again you want to start with nice cleaned well combed hair. And I mentioned earlier if you have finer hair you might wait until it's been washed a day before. You want to almost get it almost a little bit dirty. Your hair will stay up a little better if it's a little bit finer. So, what we're gonna do is we're gonna grab the hair from the nape of the neck and work our way up. And then just kind of, I, you could use a brush but I actually kind like the more natural look of combing the hair out just just with your own. Just to get the top smooth and again we want this to be a really natural look so I don't like it too pulled back or too combed. That's why it's it's not good to put your hair up when it's wet because it just look too almost too flat against the head. You want it a little bit a little bit more bouncy, a little bit more natural. So it depends you could really choose how high you want to go. You know some people like to go almost right on top of the head. I don't want to go quiet that far. I just want to go where you go from the flat of the head. You just want to go the very tip of the back of the head. That way throughout the day it might slide down a little bit, but it won't get, it won't go too low. Grab the hair, wrap it around the ponytail, two or three times. You want to make sure that the high ponytail that it's nice and tight, because you don't want it slipping. And once it's up again if the little pieces that are shorter, you want to wet them just to smooth them. Then you want to take a piece from underneath, doesn't need to be too big. You want to actually, I'm gonna wet it, so it wraps better. It's just water with a teeny bit of hair spray in that spray bottle, mainly water. I'm just gonna wrap it right around, the ponytail just like that. Tuck it underneath. Take a bobby pin. Make sure it's tucked in there and there we've got our basic high, casual but it's a little bit dressier with the wrap ponytail. Turn back, if you want to turn forward as well. Let's see it from the front, great. It's nice with these nice pieces hanging here. If you really want you could pin them up. If you want to get them out of your face, you could just take a bobby pin or some dressier pins. A lot of people using head bands now these days you could take like a dressier head band if you want to put it right back and that is how you do a high ponytail.
