"A History Toolbrush can be changed in size by taking the two bracket keys next to the letter P, the left one and the right one. We can click on the right bracket and we see the circle in the middle of the screen which is actually our brush size is getting bigger and if we click on the left bracket it actually gets smaller. So, what we want to do is we don't want to create any distortion in the image. We are going to apply the blur but we're only going to, we only want to apply it to where the freckles are. We want to smooth them out. So, we don't want to have a very large wide brush tool. We want to have a more smaller in circumference brush tool where we can actually isolate the individual freckles and that's what we're going to do now. I'm going to while the History Brush Tool is selected in the toolbar, I'm going to go ahead and start clicking on some of the freckles and we see that they kind of just get a little blurred and they're much less accentuated on the skin. I'm clicking and just kind of making a little movement to kind of like to apply the blur effect which is basically like a, I guess like a little bit of a smudge and it's, as I go over the freckles we can see that they're actually kind of the blur tool is kind of just kind of putting them into a clouded kind of state where they just kind of blend in with the regular color of the skin. And we can do that to any area on the face. It doesn't matter what color we're dealing with on the image because the blur tool is only creating a blur, and it's not doing anything to affect the color. So, if I just go around a little bit making these little smudge marks which creates the blur and we can see that the freckles are kind of just they start blending in to the color of the skin and they make much less noticeable marks. So, that's basically how we go ahead and smooth out the skin without changing the entire image and we've gotten rid of those freckles and this can be used for any other type of blemishes on the face area and it's a really nice way to touch up the photos."
