Hi there, I'm Tracy Goodwin, and I'm the red sweater lady. Today, we're going to be talking about how to write an agenda. There are lots of different occasions that you may have to write an agenda for. They are used primarily in business; all types of businesses. They are the format for a meeting, and what happens in business? Well, a whole lot of meetings. Unless it's a meeting between you and someone else, if there are three or more people, the meeting is probably going to have an agenda. But it's not even just related to business. Out in the real world, board meetings, PTA meetings; all different kinds of meetings have agendas. You also might be taking a business writing course, or a business communication course, and you're going to be expected to learn how to write agendas. They're actually very, very simple, but they're very, very important, because they structure and regulate how the meeting flows. So, it's going to be real important that you learn the different components of what goes in an agenda, how to lay one out, and we're going to take a look at that right now.
