"Now we're going to talk about safely handling your Russian tortoise. Now you want to safely want to handle your Russian tortoise for his health and also for your health. These are all very friendly Russian tortoises and they all are they generally don't bite but small children shouldn't be teasing the Russian tortoises with his face. You should grasp the Russian tortoise nice and firmly. You are not going to hurt him; he has a very tough shell. It's very important that you do not drop him. If you drop a Russian tortoise, his shell is strong but the the sides can chip or break if they hit a hard floor. If you wiggle him round, he's going to get nervous and he can have an accident. Whenever you hold any reptiles of any sort including Russian tortoises and maybe even especially turtles, you should clean your hands and you can use the sink or alcohol get. You should clean your hands in between touching animals especially if you are going to eat afterwards. So it's very important that you keep your hands clean, keep your environment clean and have a nice healthy tortoise, a nice healthy children."
