Hi my name is Sarah and this is Halibut, and I am one of the exotic technicians here at Extra Care Animal Hospital, and I am going to provide you with some helpful information on owning a rabbit. Rabbits can be kept in households with other pets. Although when introducing a rabbit to a household, or introducing a new pet into a new household with rabbits, supervision is absolutely important. Some dogs and cats may be aggressive towards rabbits, and it is very important that you are there to supervise and make sure that your rabbit does not get injured. Some times after your rabbit and other animals have been socialized, they can live together comfortably. However, there is always the possibility you will have to keep your rabbit separated from your other animals for the duration of the time that you own the rabbit.
