"One of the other important things to take into consideration when purchasing your new lizard, is price. Now, when I'm talking price, I don't talk necessarily just the cost of the lizard, though we will talk about that for a second. I'm also talking about the full cost of the full enclosure. Okay, so, like for a bearded dragon who--a baby bearded dragon will run you anywhere between the sixty to hundred dollar range, depending on where you're buying it from. The enclosure is probably going to run you another three hundred bucks, so you know, you can't be afraid if you're looking at a bearded dragon, to drop somewhere around four hundred--maybe a little bit more--dollars at once. It's better to do it right, right off the bat and not have to redo it again, so be aware that the price of the lizard is small in comparison to the price of the entire enclosure. Now--oh go back in there, bud. He's getting a little annoyed with me getting him in and out. The leopard gecko, who is probably going to run you, depending on where you buy it from, anywhere from twenty-four to fifty dollars, or if you're getting a rare color morph, maybe even more. But on average, twenty-four to fifty bucks, probably closer to the thirty dollar range. Plus the enclosure, it--the enclosure's probably going to run you somewhere around a hundred and fifty or so, so considerably less expensive than the bearded dragon. You're probably looking at dropping around two hundred to two hundred and fifty dollars in total on the leopard gecko, so almost half what a bearded dragon costs. And then lastly, we have of course our crested gecko, who is going to run you--crested geckos tend to be a little expensive--going to run you anywhere from eighty bucks to upwards of a hundred and sixty, two hundred dollars--I mean, it depends on the color morph. But for your average colored crested gecko--sorry about that--your average colored crested gecko, you're going to be looking at probably around eighty to ninety dollar range, and for the rest of the enclosure, you're probably looking at another probably hundred and fifty to two hundred bucks, so three hundred dollars isn't out of the question to set up a crested gecko properly and comfortably. Though, if you skimp a little here and there, you might be able to get him a little bit less. Personally, I like to go all-out right away."
