"This is Vicki Walker for Expert Village. For the purpose of our demonstration today I have made, I have cut out 2 pockets that I'm going to put down near the bottom of the garment bag that coordinate with the trimming around the letter D that I have already sewn onto the garment bag. In order to sew the pockets I would flip them right sides together. I'm going to leave a opening near the top so I can turn the pocket in a few minutes after I finish sewing the seam around the edge. I would be using about 1/2 inch seam around the outside edge. I will sew that just like this all the way the outside edges. Let me get my settings correct. To a point at the bottom and I would lift up the pressure foot for my fabric. Then finish the seam up to complete the pocket. I would trim the corners and then I would turn the pocket inside out or right side out and then I would press it. Then the next step we would be sewing the pocket to the garment bag. "
