Summary: Learn how to make your own homemade wire wrapped earrings and other jewelry in this free video on how to make wire wrapped jewelry.
"Hi, my name is Nicole and today we’re going to be going over the basics of wire wrapping and making jewelry, and I right now I just want to show you how to make a simple pair of earrings out of carnelian beads. So, first you need a headpin and basically you just find a bead. You want to try to find beads that match up so your earrings won’t be lopsided. You just place the bead onto the headpin, and it’ll stay there because the headpin will hold it on. Okay, so you want to take your chain nose pliers and hold those in one hand and make your perfect loop. Pull the wire around. And you can make the loop as big as you like- I prefer for it to be pretty small. Then you want to take your ear wire, connect it to your loop, and then you’ll need your flat nose to finish. You want to make sure that you keep the loop tight next to the bead. Crimp the loop, and then you take your cutting pliers to cut the remaining excess off. And then, just to make sure that little tail doesn’t stick out, you take the chain nose and crimp it down again. And there you have the simplest of earrings with carnelian."

on 8/14/2008 The first pliers she stated was "chain nose pliers" but she is using round nose pliers in the video.
Perhaps she is nervous.
