Say you're doing a research paper or any kind of essay writing on Abraham Lincoln, and you know a person who deals into the historical part of Abraham Lincoln's life and he's a member of the historical society in your town and he's just pretty much an expert on Abe Lincoln. One of the requirements that your teachers made you do of your essay is to get an interview, because I've done that before when I was an English teacher. I made the students get an interview from someone. It's a great tool to getting you out and talking with people and things like that. Let me give you a few tips on the interview process. The first thing you want to do is have your questions written down before hand so that you won't go to this interview and just freak out. If you have all your questions make sure you're on time and then you get your facts and present...Starting your essay, you'll have all your facts down. The date, the time you interviewed the person. Those are the 2 main ways. It's the research technique and the interview technique when you're gathering your facts for an essay. "
