"Hi, this is Mark Kneeskern, on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip, I'm going to tell you about what kind of shirts to buy for screen printing, and how to buy them. There are many choices for shirts to screen print upon, and the easiest choice is just a white t-shirt. And you can order those in bulk online or you can get them in stores, or you can go to thrift stores even if you want to get the recycling idea going. I usually try to get them in thrift stores myself. this is one that I found in a thrift store. Its just a white t-shirt, and it's easy to print on. It's nice and clean and flat, and you won't run into any issues. If you happen to get anything like this that has stripes on it, you want to create a very bold design that will stand out, even if you have these stripes. I recommend getting a light colored shirt, because a dark colored shirt it going to be hard to get the ink to show up, and the design won't stand out as well as it will on a light colored shirt. And that's how you buy a shirt for screen printing."
