"Alright everybody. You remember before we did the floating spoon trick, which I also told you could use a pencil? And you remember with that one I had a little sneaky setup under my watch. Well this time, I'm taking my watch off and we're going to take the pencil. I'm going to hold on to my wrist just to make sure there's no trickery. If I let go very, very slowly and make the pencil cling to my hand just like that. Now, this is a simple trick but it's sort of the one you do as a fun visual stunt. All I'm going to do is do it from the other side so you can see what happens. You hold the pencil in your hand like this. You grab with your wrist like this and you just take your finger and hold the pencil in place like that. It's a classic from all those kids magic books, but if you make sure that this finger is hidden behind this finger then it's going to work just fine and they won't see you holding the pencil up. Let me show you again on this side. It look al little better to if you spread out your fingers and then let go at the last minute just like that. It looks like the pencil is clinging to your hand. If you can keep that middle finger there back, that'll look good too. That's how you do the static floating without any setup under your watch. "
