"Now I'm going to demonstrate cutting and tying a neckline. I'm demonstrating it on a small scrap fabric, but you can do this on the large poncho. Okay, imagine that this is a large poncho. And again, we're going to fold it in quarters, making sure there's no lumps or bumps. You want that nicely folded. And you fold the poncho in quarters the same way. And you also want to mark off the three inches, and we're going to cut the three inches the same as in the woven neckline. Okay, and cut the side folds the same as in the woven neckline. Okay, and then you open it up like this. And now we're going to cut, instead of cutting a circle from slit to slit, we're going to cut strips, sort of going around in a circle. Imagine a circle around here and cutting to the circle. And go all the way around the neckline in this fashion."
