"These are the materials we'll be using for our fun foam Humpty Dumpty finger puppet. You'll need some white fun foam, a sheet of fun foam. This is about six inch square, cut from a six inch square, a piece of fun foam. And you'll need assorted permanent markers for drawing the details. You want to cut an egg shape with some little arms sticking out like this. Now our egg shape is four inches by three, three and a half inches with some arms sticking out. So if you cut a pattern out of paper first until you get the right shape and then cut around the pattern to make your puppet. Next we're going to put, mark it for the leg holes and I just put my fingers like this, about an inch and half apart, and just push in and make an indent in the fun foam. Then you can fold the fun foam in half and cut a half circle like that to make your finger holes. We'll do it on both sides. If you don't get the right size the first time around, you can just refold it and trim a little bit more. You want to be careful that you don't cut through to both holes, or you don't want to make the two holes too close so that they might rip. So I'm going to make this one just a little bit bigger like that. Now we're going to draw our faces on our Humpty Dumpty. OK, we'll start with the eyes. I'm just going to make some moon shapes like that for our eyes, and then give him some eyebrows. Use a red marker for a nice big smile and then I'm just going to use a little bit of orange and just draw some little dots there together and those are his hands and then we'll finish off with the black marker for the eyes. And there's our happy Humpty Dumpty. Now if you turn that over, we're going to make our sad Humpty Dumpty, because after he falls off the wall, he's not very happy any more. We want to make the same eyes like this. But instead of those nice cheery eyebrows we want to have some distressed eyebrows. We're going to make a sad face here. It's a little sad mouth. You can put the eyes in the same place like this, and then use your black magic marker to make a crack in our sad little Humpty Dumpty. Then again, finish up with the hands with a little bit of orange marker for the hands. This is how you play with your Humpty Dumpty finger puppet. Place your fingers in here. Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. All the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't put Humpty together again."
