"Hi, welcome to Expert Village. I am Gretchen Soares with the Butterfly Boutique. Now that we have this all pinned together, we are going to sew it together. We are taking 1/2 to 3/4 inch seam allowance. We will not need to backstitch, because we are going to finish stitch over it when we come back around. So we start sewing. We are going to pivot so it is on a diagonal. Take three stitches, one, two, three, needle down, pivot again, so we are sewing straight. Again, we come to a corner and we are going to pivot so it is on a diagonal, take three stitches, one, two, three, and pivot straight. We are going to cross over exactly on the stitching we locked before to lock it in place. Remove it from the machine and trim your strings."
