"Hi! I’m Fran Bricken and I want to show you how to clean your rubber stamps today. When you’re using rubber stamps to make cards you want to make sure that you keep your stamps clean afterwards. According to what kind of ink you’ve used, if you used the permanent ink or if you’ve use a pigment ink you still need to clean your stamps, the pigment ink will come off real easily, all I’ve got here is you just want to get a plate or a tin and put a damp paper towel in it and you just want to press that down until the color comes off the stamp like that, you see that the stamps clean and then place it over the paper towel to let it get a little bit dry and then it’ll be ready. For stamps if you stamped with the pigment ink like this if you push that down on the paper it’s not going to come off cause its dried so quickly, so you want to buy some stamp cleaner there’s different kinds, there’s also stamp pads that come with stamp cleaner and you just want to use that on your stamp like that and then take a paper towel and wipe that off. With the permanent ink you don’t have to since it dries on there quickly, if you want to stamp with another color it would not come off because it is permanent but the buildup does get on there so you do want to do this from time to time and get those cleaned. You can see the underside of the stamp got several different colors on it from stamping it, that’s fine cause it’s not going to touch your paper. That will clean your stamp and then let that sit over there and dry and then once you blotted it a little bit you just want to let them air dry and that will keep your rubber stamps nice and clean and with your inks you always want to make sure that you keep your tops on and the best way to store your ink pads is to store them upside down that keeps the pigment down near the pad. Those are just some easy ways to remember to keep your stamps cleaned, if you have any questions you can check our website at Lasting Legacy. "
