Video Transcript

"Hi! My name is Elton Hall and I'm from Texas State Optical in Austin, Texas. I’m here on behalf of Expert Village, and I'm going to show you how to insert and remove contact lenses. The second step of inserting a contact lens is you actually have to figure out which side is the wrong side and the right side. The right side looks just like this. It comes to a perfect little bowl shape. All edges of the contact shape come up to a perfect little shape just like that. The wrong side of a contact lens looks just like this. Notice the edge of the contact lens itself. It's a little bit more sharp on the sides there. All the sides of the contact lens kind of sits a little bit open just like that. What you want to do is make sure that the contact lens is on the right side at all times. It'll look just like that. All edge should come up to a perfect little shape at the top right there so it can be as smooth as possible."
