"Hi, I'm Deb Huglin Vogel and I'm here for Expert Village to show you have to lay in your rags in your rag loom. We're going to make a rug here, and this is really fun. One of the things you want to do is keep these things on the edge, called margins, nice and even so your rug isn't wiggly on the outside. So we're going to actually pull this through. We want to go every-other-one from the one below it. So the outy goes in, and the inny goes out. So we want to just lay a little piece of it in here, so we don't have to have things hanging off the edge like that. And when we come back in we're going to flip this out so the colors are right. Now we want the one from behind to come in front. And now this one is on top, so we want this one to go in front. And that's how it holds it together. So we're really kind of building it by braiding it in and out. It's like a sideways braid. So here we can see, this one is the one behind so we want to pull that forward. There's little hairy bits and you just really have to pull, what you don't want to do is pull this so tight that it makes the edge funny. So you want to hold that with your hand and here you can see it's every-other-one. Once again this one's in front here, underneath, and we want it in front. And you're holding it with your hand while your working on it, so everything stays in the right place. This one's behind, we want it to come in front. But what we're doing, is we're making sure that (and I don't what that twist in there) we're making sure that they're staying in the right order. Okay, this one's behind. It's in the right order, so we want that to come in front."
