How to Sew Handles for Cloth Grocery Bag

"Hi, I'm Candi Cane Canncel with Expert Village. When you are sewing something like this top stitching that is going to be seen, you really just want to make sure to keep your stitches as straight as possible. Sometimes it's really hard with the vinyl but as long as it looks as straight as you can, get it. What I'm going to do when I get to the end is I'm going to go ahead and sew this little opening closed and them come up the other side. Again all this will just make our handle just lay as flat as possible. Then come up the other side. Once you done one handle, then you can go ahead and do the same thing with the other handle."
