"Hi, my name is Chemin Alldredge. I'm a third degree Black Belt and I'm here with Expert Village. Today we are to be going over women's beginning self defense. Alright, self defense is very, very important. I believe that it's important for every woman to know at this day in age. Always be cautious of what surrounds you; you always know what your surroundings are. A great method, when you are in a parking garage, one of the things you want to do is, if you are in a parking garage and there's a van parked next to you, most attackers will come open the van when you come into your car and take you away. If there is a van next to you, you want to get into the opposite end of your car. Get in through the passenger's, lock all the doors and then drive away. If you are not safe, go in and ask the security guard to walk you out. In any situation, if you are at the grocery store or a regular store, sometimes they will have a shopping cart boy or anybody. If you feel that you are uncomfortable about the situation, they will go out and walk you to your car so you make sure that you get there safe. When you carry your purse with you, women always have large purses. This is a good medium sized purse. I always want to make sure that it's closed so that no one can try to get inside of it and so I don't lose things so that I'm not distracted in having to pick up my objects. Always keep my purse nice and close to my body, hand always gripped onto the handle. In my other hand, I also have my keys. Alright, you always want to make sure that you are safe. Park under street lights. Never go into any situation that you feel uncomfortable with. You want to make sure that you have friends; a buddy system is great. If you go somewhere, bring a friend with you. If you are not with a friend, make sure that you park under street lights. If you have someone following you in your car, drive to the nearest police station until they move on. Never drive straight to your house. Safety is your first key."
