"My name is Courtney Hester on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip, we're going to be making a girl scout. We're going to take a flat slotted clothes pin and we're going to take a tiny wood stick. We're going to cut this wood stick in half to make arms. Once we have it cut in half, we're going to glue one on each side of the clothes pin. Now that it has arms, we need to give it some clothes. We're going to start with the shirt. We're going to use our white yarn. We're going to put a dot of glue on the back. Attach one end of our yarn and then we're going to wrap it around the front. We're going to go slightly over the arms and then we'll begin wrapping underneath the arms. Now that we've made the first part of the shirt, we need to wrap the arms for the sleeves. Now that we've wrapped both the arms to make sleeves, now we need to do the pants. We're going to take some green yarn. Again, start in the back with a dot of glue. Put our one end there. This time when we wrap around, we are going to go all the way at the top, but then when we get to the legs, we're going to go down each individual leg to make pants. Now our girl scout has her shirt and her pants. The next thing we need to do is give her a sash. We're going to start by again putting a little dot of glue. Instead of doing it on the center of the back, I'm going to put it just a little bit above the arm. Kind of where the shoulder is. That's where I'm going to start. Then we're going to wrap this at a diagonal for the sash. Now we need to give her some hair. We're going to use red. We're going to make some loops. Once we double knot this in the middle, I'm going to cut the loops so her is straight. Then if we want we can give her a couple little bows for her hair. You can take it and wrap it around each side and tie a little bow. Next, we're going to give her some eyes. Now we have our girl scout. "
