"What I'm going to show you how to do now is a trim in a double crochet which is how the rest of the scarf has been done. You're going to take the end of your yarn and wrap it around your finger. Get that nice little pretzel thing going. Oops. There we go. You're going to stick your hook to grab that piece of yarn right there. There we go. With our loop on our needle we're going to do, you see we have that nice row of chains right there, is we're going to go right to the edge get that very nice, that last bit, to make sure we're all of the way to the edge to keep a nice straight edge. We're going to pull our yarn under. We're going to hook it down. That's how we connect our new color. What we're going to do is we're going to chain up to, because we're doing the double crochet that sets the standard for the rest of the height. Now, what we're going to do is I'm going to keep this same pattern going I'm just using a different color to make a nice fun little trim. So, what I have here is I'm going to skip this because that's my columns. I'm going to add one extra chain. I'm going to go underneath. This is just like the pattern of the scarf. I'm going to chain one, go right through there. There we go. See, it's a different color, but you're creating a nice little trim or what you could do is you could use this technique to add different rows of colors throughout your scarf. It's very easy to change your color and keep this pattern going. I'm going to show you how to go it all the way across and do the next row so we can finish it up and have a nice double crochet trim. But, that's the same pattern of our scarf."
