Welcome to expertvillage.com. I am Angela Sage Larsen. I hope you will visit my website at petalwinkthefairy.com. The good news about glass paints is that there are more and more varieties coming out all the time. There are different kinds, my favorite kind is a really opaque glass paint, so that means that when you paint on the glass the light does not come through it at all, what you really see is the color. There are transparent glass paints and the transparent glass paints are what make your glass look like stained glass, so that a lot of light comes through but you still get some brilliant color. These two kinds you can bake in the oven once you are finished. There are other kinds that are just air dry glass paints, and those are usually an opaque kind and they tend to not be quite as permanent but they are really nice for using, a lot easier. There are also glass paint pens, some are specifically designed for glass and again they can be opaque or transparent and there are other kind of glass paints pens that are very opaque and they might not be as permanent, but they come in a lot of different colors and you have a wide variety, and then of course there are the metallic paint pens and those are really nice on glass as well.
