"On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Terry, and today I'm going to show you how to use a welder. Now this is actually a tip, it's not a process of welding, it is a tip. I'm going to place a weld right here, but what I'm going to do is I'm going to draw these two pieces as tightly together as I can. So, once I weld it and it's still glowing a hot glow I'll take a hammer and, I'll just use this piece of material for a punch, and while it's glowing I will hit this and it will draw the two together and, since it cools so quickly it will cool before it can pull back apart. And, that's the way you get a tight fit. Like I said, this is actually a tip this is not a technique. When it's getting hot, use the hammer. Now, we'll take it off because I want you to see how tight that was right here? I didn't get it as tight over here so I'll go it again. But, that's the effect you want to achieve, you want to draw those two pieces of metals in just as tight as you can."
