Summary: Learn how and where to safely store a shop vac in this free educational video series.
"Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, I'll be taking about storage of your shop vac. Before storing your shop vac, you always want to empty it out clean it out and let it thoroughly dry. Once it's completely dried, what I like to do is I'll go ahead and store the dry filter on the vacuum. This is going to make sure that all of the components stay together and that it's ready to go for the next time. Now you can either store the accessories on the tool holder or what I like to do a lot of times is I'll actually store them inside the shop vac. Just in case it gets tipped over sometimes a holder has a tendency to let them fall off but if you put them inside, it's going to really keep everything together. In addition, I like to disconnect the holes and I'll actually wrap it up and store that inside of the shop vac also. Basically it just keeps it all together and it takes up just a little bit less space if you put that all inside of it. Lastly, you can wrap up that cord around the tool holder."
