THANKS SO MUCH! i've been trying every now and again when people I know are hula hooping (who are all really good) and no one has ever taken the time to explain stuff. and i got an amazing hoop for christmas...and now im so happy :)

So now let's take a minute to review everything we learned in this section thus far. We started at the waist and we learned how to drop the hoop down to our hips. We learned how to pass over those hip bones because we might get bruised if we stay there too long. Once we're on the hips we learned about the circular motion and the pushing forward and back that happens. We learned how to turn around the hips. We learned what to do when the hoop starts to fall down. Maybe speed up your movement a little bit. We learned what to do if the hoop keeps popping up to the waist. Maybe slow down a little bit. Then we took the hoop off of our bodies. Took it to our hips and we learned the first off body move, lasso. So we took the first hand, we slowly turned in a circle and brought the hoop all the way up and over our heads into lasso with the first hand. Then we learned how to take the second hand up and come in to prayer and we also learned lasso with our second hand. We practiced alternating between all of those variations. We practiced turning, coming down, getting creative, having fun, and then we took the body down to our waist and we learned how to corkscrew. We took our first hand and we did a lift up, we also did the drop down with the first hand. First hand lift up, first hand drop down. Second we learned the second hand lift up, and the second hand drop down. Then we started combining those two together, lifting up with the right, dropping down with the left or lifting up with the first, dropping down with the second and then we also did the lift up with the second hand and drop down with the first.
